## What it solves

An agent that starts fresh every conversation cannot get better at working with you, because nothing it learned yesterday is there today. This is the hosted answer to that: memory that persists across sessions, across devices and across several agents at once.

## How it works

56 MCP tools cover learning, search, the knowledge graph, session tracking, multi-agent support, contradiction detection and self-improvement. The knowledge graph is in every plan rather than behind a paid tier. Three of the tools render inside the chat through MCP Apps: an interactive 3D view of the graph, a recall timeline and a session replay, so you can look at what the memory holds instead of only querying it.

## When to use it

Take the hosted one when you work from more than one machine, when several agents share a memory, or when you want the search reranked rather than merely retrieved. Connecting takes about ten seconds: paste a URL into the connector settings of Claude Desktop and you are in.

## When not to use it

If everything has to stay on your own disk, this is the wrong half of the pair. local-memory-mcp is the sibling for that: one SQLite file, no account, free forever, and an export that imports straight into here if you change your mind later.
